Paul Mwaniki is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Information Systems at United States International University-Africa.
He holds a Master’s degree in Applied Information Technology from African Nazarene University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Technology from Jomo Kenyatta University
of Agriculture and Technology. He has served in various roles in system administration, web development, data center management, network configuration and management which allows him to bring technical experience to his academic roles.
He is the Curriculum Lead for a Mozilla-funded project on responsible computing which aims to embed ethics and responsible computing principles into computer science courses.

He has also served as the Digital Training Team Lead for Kenya’s Teacher Service Commission, facilitating the Teacher Professional Development (TPD) program for educators nationwide through Riara University.
He also holds various certifications which include CCNA routing and switching, Cisco CyberOps, IBM Mobile Developer, IBM Security Intelligence Specialist among others underscoring his commitment to continuous professional growth.
