RU participates in CTF competition hosted by Sentinel Africa in partnership with CTFROOM.

On Saturday the 28th of October three 1 st year information security students attended a CTF
competition hosted by Sentinel Africa in partnership with CTFROOM, at USIU Kasarani. They were
glad to represent Riara university in a series of web based CTF challenges. Being a newly minted
team of cyber security first years, they were met with a daunting challenge that they eagerly met.
Relying on their unyielding team spirit and the graciousness of the hosts they were able to gain quite
a few insights into their chosen field as well as make a few welcomed connections with professionals
in the discipline.
