The Riara University faculty (both full time and adjuncts) on 18th March 2016 concluded a six-week Certificate in Teaching at the University (CTU) training programme on effective learner-centred pedagogical approaches.<\/p>\n
The programme was led by the Riara School of Education and facilitated by various resource persons drawn from RSE, RLS, SOB, RSF, SCS & Library.<\/p>\n
Participants were made to engage with various learner-centred approaches that included:<\/p>\n
a. Effective lesson planning<\/p>\n
b. Application of the Bloom\u2019s Taxonomy<\/p>\n
c. Effective assessment<\/p>\n
d. Inquiry-based learning<\/p>\n
e. Group work<\/p>\n
f. Case studies method<\/p>\n
g. Socratic method<\/p>\n
h. Library-supported learning<\/p>\n
i. Technology-supported learning<\/p>\n
j. Blended (holistic) method<\/p>\n
k. Peer-reviews<\/p>\n
